Casual Day
Parents and Guardians, on Friday, February 16, students can wear the dress of their choice based on the Casual Day Attire guidelines. The cost is $2. This money will be used for student and teacher incentives and rewards. In addition, 25% of the proceeds collected will be given to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Buenas!
Hope all of you are ready for a week of learning new things in Spanish. Remember, once you learn a language, a new world of possibilities are opened up to you. You can communicate with others in a way that you wouldn't be able to without knowing their language.
This week in 8th grade, we will be learning new ADJETIVOS (adjectives) in order to describe things and how to conjugate -ER and -IR verbs in the present tense. We will be able to put all of this together to write sentences such as...
1. Me gusta leer libros nuevos.
2. Quiero aprender a pintar cosas bonitas.
3. Tengo una familia amable.
***The more connections that you can make in Spanish in real world situations, the more relevant and memorable the information will be to you!
Tonight's homework is to write the adjectives on pg. 114 3x's and turn in & Complete the family tree/adjectives worksheet you received in class today.
