2. Writing Section describing 5 people from your family tree (one should be yourself) Due Friday
-Writing can be hand-written or typed.
-Final Copy due Friday.
-Each person's description should be a seperate paragraph.
-Each paragraph should be indented. Use capital letters and correct punctuation.

3.  Bring the rubric tomorrow to do peer reviews.

Requirements:   

*Include minimum:  Grandparents, Mother, Father, and yourself.

*Option:  If you would like, you can use celebrities in place of family members.

*Extra members could include aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandparents, etc…

*For each member, include their name, age (estimated), profession, and two adjectives. 

*Writing:  You will do additional writing on four selected family members.

*Presentation:  You will do a class presentation between 3-5 minutes about your family tree including a Q&A session.

You should see by the beginning of next week updated grades. I will be entering the latest Family Tree/Adjectives Packet as a grade as well as the weekly formative assessment (quiz) that we took today in class.

Tutoring

There was no tutoring this week, but tutoring will resume next week on Thursday, Feb. 1st.

SPANISH TUTORING Thursdays 4:30-5:30

Spanish Tutoring starts THIS THURSDAY (Jueves) January 10th (el 10 de enero).  If you are staying after for tutoring, go to the 8th Grade Commons during Bus Dismissal and I will come and get you all after my bus duty.  Make sure you come with specific questions/topics/assignments to discuss.  You will need to have a ride to pick you up by 5:30.
