Remember that Cinco de Mayo is...

Cinco de Mayo is:
*More commercialized in the U.S.
*More popular in the U.S.
*A holiday celebrating the Mexican troops defeat of the formally trained French army even though the Mexican troops had fewer and less advanced artillery.
*Celebrated on the 5th of May.
*Originated from the victory in the battle of Puebla (still a modern city in Mexico).

Cinco de Mayo is not:
*Just about tacos, enchiladas, y nachos.
*Celebrating the Day of the Dead.
*Celebrating the Mexican Independence Day.
*As popular in Mexico.
